Charlotte’s Polka Dot Bake Shop Expands with Sweet Potatoes

Charlotte’s Polka Dot Bake Shop is baking more than just sweet potato cupcakes, they’ve moved on to sweet potato chips and granola! The Charlotte Observer interviewed owners Jennifer Chapman and Michelle Miller. They wanted to “create a product with a longer shelf-life than their cupcakes and sweet potatoes allowed them to do it”. Read the rest of the article here.

Their sweet potato crackers come in a variety of flavors (pictured above) and their newest product, sweet potato granola with cranberries and almonds, was unveiled at the Fancy Food Show in Washington D.C. this past June. The crackers can be found at select Whole Foods and Fresh Markets, and can also be ordered online.

We’re placing our order ASAP and if you get around to trying anything, drop us a comment and let us know how they are!
