Sweet Potatoes At Type A Parent Conference

Sweet baby Nolan eating Sweet Potato Turkey Meatballs

This weekend, the North Carolina Sweet Potato Commission attended the Type A Parent Conference in Charlotte, NC to raise awareness about sweet potatoes and what a stellar addition they can be to children’s diets. We met tons of great moms, most who already love sweet potatoes but some who didn’t like them at all. We took on that challenge and convinced them to try samples of our Sweet Potato Turkey Meatballs and our Sugar-free Sweet Potato Date Scones. The results? Success! We converted FOUR moms this weekend and couldn’t be more proud. We hope all the moms that stopped by our booth will find our Taters for Tots leaflet useful and share their great recipes with their readers.
